They were married at Mythe Barn wedding Venue near Atherstone Warwickshire on 07/03/22.
It was a beautiful spring day for the wedding to take place. With a theme of powder blue and white in the bridesmaids and Trudy's bouquets. The flowers were some of the best I have seen and over the years I have seen lots of bridal flowers. They were made by Garlands florist based in Tamworth. Mythe barn have also done a fabulous job of their dedicated room for brides to get ready in. I have worked at this venue many times pre pandemic so this was my first time of seeing the amazing job they have done which ensures any bridal party have a calm and fabulous environment to get ready in. Such a glitzy room for hair and make up!
On the morning, the booking was for the bride hair and make up plus her 2 lovely bridesmaids for hair. After arriving at 10am with a view of being finished for 1pm I set to work straight away to curl the bridesmaids hair with straighteners and created a half up half down boho style. I then fitted these beautiful hair slides that had complimentary white and blue flowers in them which added the finishing touches and also add to the continuity of the theme. During the hairstyling process, I used Tigi Bed Head Ego Boost to help keep the ends smooth and give better curls as well as spraying each row of curls before going onto the next section.
It was then time to take care of Trudy, such a lovely calm and laid back bride. As we had already done the trial we replicated the look again. The chosen hair style was again was a half up half down style complimented with natural elegant bridal make up using warm hue eyeshadows and nude lip. Products used to create the bride's make up were Airbase foundation, Mac bronzer, Illamasqua eyeshadows, Mac blush with Illamasqua highlighter in the shade Electric and Mac lipstick. We decided not to use any eyeliner and use plenty of mascara to keep that fresh natural feel.
It was such a pleasure taking care of Trudy and her bridesmaids during her special morning especially as their wedding had been postponed due to the pandemic. I am sure she looked absolutely stunning in her beautiful dress and breezed down the aisle.
