How it all began

Karen Chesters at the age of 14 years began work in the hairdressing industry as a young and ambitious teenager.
Winning her 1st competition in 1989 her confidence and talent began to grow.
Karen decided at the age of 18 to embark upon a freelance career.


Five years in building the business Karen realised she still had lots to learn, and embarked on a DECADE of dedicated study. Often studying two or three courses in a year to build up her skills.

Achieving many IHBC Diplomas, City in Guilds and NVQ's in hairdressing, beauty, nails, make up as well as business and I.T skills.
Karen has attended many study centres’ nation wide.
With many years experience within the industry her expertise have been sought after for events such as the Clothes Show Live.And make up presentation for HRH Princess Royal
